סקר אקולוגי נערך ביער ביריה בשטח קטן מערבית לצפת. תוארו סלע-קרקע, צומח תת היער ובתי הגידול. תוארו של בוסתן, עשבוניים ומספר טיפוסי בתה של סירה קוצנית ואזוב עם מלווים שונים, בבתי גידול קירטוניים ותוארו פרוקי רגליים.
